MonoNeon Plays On Jacob Collier’s New Song “In My Bones” (Listen)

The funky bass giant teams up with the talented multi-instrumentalist on his latest track

On top of his highly prolific regimen of releasing new albums and online videos left and right, the infinitely funky MonoNeon is also known for his slew of collaborations. His recent work with Prince, Mac Miller, Domi and JD Beck, Medeski & Martin, and Ghost-Note has thrust him into the spotlight on a widespread level, and for good reason.

It was inevitable for the two forward-thinking musicians (Mono and Jacob Collier) to finally collaborate on a song together. MonoNeon is thumping his bass like crazy on Jacob’s mind-blowing arrangement featuring vocalists Kimbra and Tank from Tank and the Bangas.

You know immediately it’s MonoNeon on bass just from hearing his funky usage of Indian gamakas right at the 35 second mark of the track.
