In 2025, Bass Magazine launched the first annual Bass Magazine Awards show at The Observatory in Santa Ana, CA. Honorees included Lifetime Award recipients Justin Chancellor (Tool), John Patitucci, and Sting with Mohini Dey and MonoNeon each receiving the Future of Bass Award. When Sting was unable to perform last minute due to an illness, MonoNeon stepped in and performed an expanded set of original music which featured guest appearances by Les Claypool (Primus) and NYC based guitar virtuoso Oz Noy.
