She has released three solo albums that have achieved rankings of #1 on the ITunes Store chart in Denmark, and #2 in Japan and France

Phil Jones Bass is excited to announce that bassist and Youtube phenom Juna Serita , has joined the PJB family as an artist endorsee. For live performance and studio production, Juna has chosen PJB’s BP-800 head and C8 speaker cabinets.

Born in Ishikawa Japan, Juna began playing the bass guitar at 17 years old and by age 18 she was already gaining notoriety as a bassist and vocalist. She was awarded a scholarship to the Showa University of Music where she studied under renowned bassist Tetsuo Sakurai (ex CASIOPEA).

She was an original member of the all female band TOKYO GROOVE JYOSHI. Their music video “What is Hip?” has garnered over 2.7 million views on Youtube. Her solo videos regularly exceed 100k plus views with one achieving over a million. Juna appeared in a SONY television commercial that featured her performing a dazzling slap bass solo.

She has released three solo albums that have achieved rankings of #1 on the ITunes Store chart in Denmark, and #2 in Japan and France. Non other than the inimitable Bootsy Collins introduced her music video “ The Princess of Funk “ as Bootsy baby.
