From Mayones: We’re proud to introduce our latest signature collaboration with Henrik Linder of Dirty Loops: the Mayones Cali HL 5 and Cali HL 6. We’ve known Henrik for years, so when he started exploring our original Cali models, it wasn’t long before he had a question for us:

“Hey, can you make a 6-string version too?”

Of course we could!

Working closely with Henrik, we developed two signature models tailored to his exact specifications, combining his vision with the craftsmanship and DNA of the original Mayones Cali series. Available in two striking finishes – Ultra Pink and Gothic Black Matt – both models feature a specially designed Velvetrone Mayones dual-humbucker pickup, a series/parallel switch and custom bridge string spacing.

The Cali4 & 5 were originally designed as fun travel companions – tiny basses that would allow us to make use of the highest-quality wood left over from the production of our full-sized instruments.

But once Henrik Linder of Dirty Loops picked one up, it became a different beast entirely – a unique instrument somewhere between a bass and a guitar, opening up a whole new way of playing, with tones and chord voicings unlike anything else.

With 5- and 6-string options, a stunning ash top and our signature Double Noble HL pickup, this is Henrik’s signature instrument through and through – built to keep up with his musical ideas and bring something entirely new to the table.

Available in the two most important colors ever – Gothic Black and Ultra Pink – both look incredible and are guaranteed to stand out on even the biggest stages. With our flagship Musashi preamp, you can also  simply plug in your earbuds or headphones and play anywhere.
