We hit the AZ festival to catch all of the bass magic

Innings Festival in Tempe AZ came to a close Sunday (2/22) with Blink-182โ€™s (Mark Hoppus) only show of 2026 following a 3-year tour and performances from Sublime (Eric Wilson), Public Enemy , Eve 6 (Max Collins), Switchfoot (Tim Foreman), Big Boi and Bowling for Soup (Rob Felicetti). Friday and Saturday included Mumford and Sons (Ted Dwane) Goo Goo Dolls (Robby Takac), 21 Pilots (Tyler Joseph), Cage the Elephant (Daniel Tichenor) and Lord Huron (Miguel Briseno). Innings Festival combines baseball and music with the stages laid out like a baseball diamond, baseball activities, and appearances from various baseball legends. The festival comes from C3 Presents, the team behind Lollapalooza, When We Were Young, Sick New World, Ohana Fest, Sea Here Now, Shaky Knees, Austin City Limits and more.

The final sets of the night on the Home Plate Stage came from Sublime and Blink-182. Sublime took the stage at 6:30 P.M. was Long Beach CAโ€™s Sublime who celebrates 30 years of their self-titled album and will have their own cruise, their own festival in multiple cities with Slightly Stoopid, a new album, and more. In 2009 surviving members drummer Bud Gaugh and bassist Eric Wilson reformed the group with singer/guitarist Rome and Gaugh left the group in 2011 with Josh Freese coming in after. In 2024 Sublime reformed with Jakob Nowell, son of their original front-man Bradley who tragically passed away in 1996 bringing an end to the group. This performance took place a day after Wilsonโ€™s birthday and what wouldโ€™ve been Bradleyโ€™s 58th birthday. The 23-song setlist had all the hits with โ€œDate Rape,โ€ โ€œWrong Way,โ€ โ€œDoinโ€™ Time,โ€ โ€œWhat I Got,โ€ and the closer was โ€œSanteria.โ€ 

Blink-182 took the stage at 9 P.M. Guitarist/singer Tom DeLonge rejoined the group in 2022 after departing in 2014. During that time Alkaline Trioโ€™s Matt Skiba had joined the group. In 2023, the band released their first album with DeLonge since 2011. They had three tours starting in April 2023 all the way to December 2025 with Alkaline Trio on the last one. There were a number of festival dates and some stadium shows. The 90-minute set of 19 songs included classics like โ€œFeeling This,โ€ The Rock Show,โ€ โ€œDumpweed,โ€ โ€œI Miss You, โ€œAnthem Part 2,โ€ โ€œWhatโ€™s My Age Again,? โ€œAll the Small Things,โ€ and their usual closer of โ€œDammit.โ€ Off their latest album One More Timeโ€ฆ they played โ€œEdging,โ€ โ€œDance With Me,โ€ โ€œand F*ck Faceโ€ which they played twice.
