YouTuber Mark Grocki has just released an all bass cover for the DragonForce song “Through the Fire and Flames.” Mark, going by the You Tube name “mgrocki” had recently put out a video for Metallica’s “One” entirely on bass, and seemed to have taken this idea one step further for the intense DragonForce song. DragonForce is known for their hyper-talented guitar work, and Mark had figured out a way to play the entire track (guitar solos, vocal lines, rhythm guitar, etc.) entirely on the bass (except drums, that’s just crazy). Herman Li, guitarist for DragonForce, has been known to downplay the bass guitar; perhaps this may change Herman’s mind.
