The Grammy-Award winning legendary production duo recently turned artists, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis have officially announced details for their upcoming debut album with BMG. Jam & Lewis Volume One is set for release on July 9th and fans can pre-order the album HERE. The legendary duo have also unveiled the star-studded featured guests on the album, which will include the likes of Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, Boyz II Men, Toni Braxton, Usher & more (see full track listing below).

On their latest single, Somewhat Loved (There You Go Breakin’ My Heart), Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis have teamed up with the multi-platinum, multiple Grammy award winning, New York Times #1 Best Selling author and global superstar Mariah Carey. Together, they have delivered an anthem punctuated by Carey’s legendary soaring vocals and the pair’s inimitable musicality. The single was the #1 most added song of the week upon its release and also marked Mariah’s 35th entry on the Adult R&B Billboardchart. The track continues a long history of collaboration between the producers and Carey, which includes the Billboard Hot 100 #1 smash “Thank God I Found You”.

The acclaimed duo’s most recent single He Don’t Know Nothin’ Bout It” found them teaming with fellow Songwriters Hall Of Fame inductee Babyface and it currently remains a Top 5 hit on both Billboard & MediaBase. The song is also spending its 15th week in the Top 5 and its 5th month in the Top 10. In other chart news, Jam & Lewis have the Top 30 “bookended” this week the #1 song on the chart as co-writers with H.E.R. on “Damage.” Jam & Lewis also have the #8 song on the chart, “Cascade,” with former Mint Condition front man Stokley. The Mariah, Babyface, and Stokley songs are all affiliated with Jam & Lewis’s Flytetyme/ Perspective label, giving the company two songs in the Top 10 and three in the Top 30 of the Billboard Adult R&B chart.

Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis have had an unprecedented career as producers, with five GRAMMY Awards, over 100 Platinum certifications, and 16 Billboard Hot 100 Number Ones. They’ve worked with legendary artists including Elton John, Lionel Richie, and Patti LaBelle, composed music for TBS and TNT networks’ NBA basketball broadcasts, as well as the theme to the opening ceremonies of the 1996 Summer Olympic Games. The duo has been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, received an NAACP Image Award, star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame and were recently nominated for a Primetime EMMY Award in “Outstanding Music Direction.”
