The John Mayer Trio Featuring Pino Palladino and Steve Jordan Reunites For First Set in Six Years (Watch)

The trio surprised the crowd and headlined the Love Rocks NYC Concert and played an energetic set

John Mayer, Pino Palladino, and Steve Jordan hit the stage for the first time in six years on Thursday, March 9th to headline the Love Rocks NYC 2023 benefit concert at The Beacon Theatre in New York City. Despite emcee Bill Murray botching up Pino’s name by calling him “Dino” in his introduction, the crowd was ecstatic, and for good reason.

The energetic performance included  “Who Did You Think I Was,” “Vultures,” and “Wait Until Tomorrow,” which features a remarkable moment of Pino being Pino at the 11:21 mark.

Mayer is currently on a solo tour at the moment, but we’re certainly hoping for more shows with this lineup in the future.
