An All-Star Celebration of One of Rock's Greatest Guitar Innovators Returns to The Bay

Few guitarists changed the course of modern music like Jeff Beck. His fearless approach to tone, phrasing, improvisation, and innovation influenced generations of musicians across rock, blues, jazz fusion, and progressive music. This September, some of the West Coast’s finest musicians will come together to honor that extraordinary legacy during the fall installment of Eric Barnett’s Fourth Annual “A Tribute to Jeff Beck.”


Rather than simply recreating classic recordings, Guitarist, Music Director & Producer, Eric Barnett’s “A Tribute to Jeff Beck” captures the adventurous spirit that defined Beck’s career. Audiences can expect an evening filled with soaring guitar solos, world-class improvisation, powerful vocals, intricate arrangements, and the spontaneous musical interaction that made Jeff Beck’s live performances legendary.


The concert will explore music from throughout Beck’s remarkable career from blues-rock classics to jazz fusion masterpieces and everything in between performed by musicians uniquely qualified to honor his artistry. Now entering its fourth year, this special concert has become one of Northern California’s premier tribute event paying homage to Jeff Beck, bringing together internationally recognized artists to celebrate the music, creativity, and spirit of one of the greatest guitarists in history.


This year’s edition features one of the strongest lineups assembled yet, headlined by legendary bassist Stu Hamm, acclaimed guitarist Alex Skolnick, and guitarist/producer Eric Barnett, joined by an exceptional cast of musicians whose combined careers span world tours, platinumselling recordings, jazz festivals, arena stages, and collaborations with many of music’s biggest names.


The performances will take place on Friday, September 11, 2026, at Club Fox in Redwood City and Saturday, September 12, 2026, at The Boardwalk in Orangevale, promising two unforgettable evenings celebrating the brilliance of Jeff Beck’s music.

Stu Hamm – Bassist, Composer & Educator
Stu Hamm is widely regarded as one of the most influential and innovative electric bassists of the past four decades, renowned for revolutionizing the role of the bass guitar through his pioneering use of two-handed tapping, slap and pop techniques, harmonics, chords, and melodic solo bass performance. A graduate of Berklee College of Music and recipient of its Distinguished Alumni Award, Hamm first rose to international prominence through his recording and touring work with guitar legends Steve Vai and Joe Satriani, appearing on landmark albums including Flex-Able, Surfing with the Alien, Flying in a Blue Dream, Passion and Warfare, and multiple G3 tours, while also collaborating with artists such as Frank
Gambale, Steve Smith, Michael Schenker, Carl Verheyen, Greg Howe, and many others. As a solo artist, he has released a series of acclaimed albums including Radio Free Albemuth, Kings of Sleep, The Urge, Outbound, Live Stu X 2, Just Outside of Normal, The Book of Lies, Hold Fast, and most recently Dystopia (A Progressive Bass Journey), continuing to tour internationally with his celebrated solo “Songs & Stories” performances that combine virtuoso musicianship, humor, and personal storytelling.


Hamm was the first bassist to receive a Fender Signature Model bass, later developing signature instruments with Washburn and Warwick, and has been repeatedly voted “Best Rock Bassist “and “Best Jazz Bassist” in major international music publication readers’ polls. Beyond performing, he is one of the world’s foremost bass educators, producing best-selling instructional videos and courses, serving as Bass Program Chair at Musicians Institute, and acting as Musical Director of the Estonian Bass Oasis (formerly Estonia Bass Camp), where he mentors bass players from around the world through masterclasses, ensemble coaching, clinics, and performances, helping inspire the next generation of bassists while continuing to expand the instrument’s artistic possibilities.

Farida Nelson – Bassist, Multi-Instrumentalist, Composer, Vocalist & Producer
Farida Nelson is an internationally accomplished multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, composer, arranger, and producer whose career spans classical music, jazz fusion, progressive rock, pop, and world music. She earned her Master of Arts in Piano Performance from the prestigious Baku Academy of Music in Azerbaijan, where she developed the classical foundation that continues to influence her distinctive compositional style and virtuosic musicianship. As chief songwriter, bassist, keyboardist, and lead vocalist for the internationally recognized bands Milk & Kisses and Unformal, Farida helped guide both groups to the Eurovision Song Contest National Finals, earning acclaim throughout Eastern Europe for her original songwriting and dynamic live performances.

Since relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area, she has continued to push creative boundaries with her acclaimed one-woman multimedia production, “Farida Nelson’s Melodious Journey,” a remarkable concert experience in which she performed multiple instruments including piano, bass, keyboards, percussion, and vocals often playing several simultaneously while seamlessly weaving together original compositions, world music, jazz, and storytelling.
Her passion for improvisation later led her into the Bay Area’s vibrant jazz fusion scene, where she has become known as an expressive bassist, keyboardist, and vocalist. Today, Farida is developing Fused Frequencies, an exciting new contemporary fusion ensemble featuring Grammy Award-winning violinist Mads Tolling, renowned bassoonist Paul Hanson, legendary keyboardist Frank Martin, and acclaimed drummer Deszon Claiborne, blending modern jazz, fusion, progressive music, and world influences into an innovative new sound. Beyond performing, she founded and produced the first Azerbaijani Classical Music Festival in the San Francisco Bay Area, introducing audiences to the rich musical heritage of her homeland while building cultural bridges through music. Continuing her evolution as both an artist and producer, Farida is currently preparing the debut Fused Frequencies album and international touring plans while simultaneously developing an ambitious R&B Retrospective, celebrating the timeless music of the 1960s through the 1990s with an all-star ensemble of distinguished musicians. Through every chapter of her career, Farida Nelson has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to artistic innovation, cultural exchange, and creating unforgettable musical experiences that transcend genres and connect audiences around the world.

Tara Rae is an accomplished bassist and live performer whose versatility, infectious stage presence, and dynamic musicianship have made her one of Southern California’s most soughtafter rock bassists. A lifelong musician with a formal music education, Tara has performed professionally since the age of 18, developing a reputation for seamlessly moving between classic rock, hard rock, pop, and tribute productions while captivating audiences with her energetic performances. She is currently the bassist for RagDolls – The Ultimate Aerosmith Tribute, one of the nation’s premier tribute bands, where she faithfully recreates the legendary grooves of Tom Hamilton while bringing her own charisma and style to the stage.


In recent months, Tara has remained exceptionally active on the Southern California live music scene, appearing at the legendary Whisky a Go Go in Hollywood as part of Ultimate Jam Night’s “AERO-ZEP-HEART” celebration alongside Eric Barnett and an all-star lineup of musicians, while also returning to the Whisky for additional high-profile guest performances. She has continued touring with RagDolls, while maintaining a busy schedule of festivals, tribute concerts, and special events.

Known for her powerful pocket, melodic bass playing, professionalism, and unmistakable enthusiasm on stage, Tara has become a favorite collaborator among many of the West Coast’s top musicians. Whether performing arena rock classics, sharing the stage with nationally recognized artists, or appearing in special all-star productions such as Eric Barnett’s 4th
