Tal Wilkenfeld Releases First Single From New Album, “Under The Sun”

Wilkenfeld is branching into new territory as a singer/songwriter

In the world of guitars aficionados, gear heads and technique junkies, Tal Wilkenfeld is a name that carries prestige. After an impressive career as a bass player and playing with Mick Jagger, Jeff Beck, Bob Weir, and The Who, Wilkenfeld is branching into new territory as a singer/songwriter and producer with big plans for 2019.

While on tour opening for the Who, Tal shared “Under the Sun” with Pete Townshend, who noted, “”Under the Sun’ is one of the best songs I’ve heard in years. It’s mesmeric, and I just love the sheer poetry of it all. The lyrics are spiritual and searching. A jewel, truly.”
