Bass legend Stu Hamm has announced the release of his upcoming album, Hold Fast. Hamm has enlisted an all-star team of musicians to play on his new material, which he says has a heavy prog rock influence. Hamm currently has a crowdfunding campaign for the album, which you can contribute to: HERE 

From Stu: Hold Fast is more Prog Rock than anything I have written or released, with Alex Skolnick, Gergo Borlai, Randy McStine (vocals!!) and Joel Taylor with guest appearances by amazing bassist Bubby Lewis, pedal steel by Andrea Whitt, epic keys by Steve Ferlazzo, and percussion from Greg Ellis.

The music and performances are transcendent, with up front bass playing, soaring soloists, great songwriting and and amazing tones, thank to the engineering/mixing by Javier Reyes (Animals As Leaders), my Co-Captain for this musical adventure!
