On May 12th, Sting played the Moody Amphitheater in Austin, Texas as an extension of his Sting 3.0 tour which began last year.  The group consists of his longtime guitarist Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas (previously of Mumford & Sons). Sting played a 21-song set spanning his 50-year career featuring hits from The Police and his solo catalog. Last year marked the 40th anniversary of Sting’s debut as a solo artist, where he’s gone on to release a total of 15 solo albums. Ten of which have gone gold to 3x platinum. Sting opened the show with one of the biggest Police hits, “Message in a Bottle,” and played a set filled with hits like “If I Ever Lose My Faith In You,” “Englishman In New York,” “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic,” “Fields of Gold, “ “Driven to Tears,” and “Walking On The Moon.” The last song before the encore was “Every Breath You Take,” and the encore featured “Roxanne” and “Fragile.”
