From Snarky Puppy: After far too long away, Snarky Puppy is returning to the east coast with the Empire Central tour in March and April of 2023. The tour will be stopping off in 20 cities over four weeks and they can’t wait to play the music from Empire Central, live and in person!
Snarky Puppy will embark on a U.S. tour next spring in support of its upcoming album, Empire Central, due on September 30th via the band’s GroundUP Music imprint.
The Texas-born progressive jazz collective will tour the Midwest, East Coast, and South beginning March 29th at Palace Theatre in St. Paul, MN. From there, Snarky Puppy will head to Pabst Theater in Milwaukie, WI on March 30th, followed by The Riviera Theatre in Chicago, IL on March 31st, and Hard Rock Northern Indiana in Gary, IN on April 1st. The group will stay in the Midwest for shows in Kalamazoo, MI (4/2) and Cleveland, OH (4/5) before heading to Town Ballroom in Buffalo, NY on April 6th.
The band will then traverse the East Coast with stops at Roadrunner in Boston, MA on April 8th; Tillis Hall in Amherst, MA on April 10th; and Chubb Theatre Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord, NH on April 11th, leading up to an appearance at the historic Beacon Theatre in New York, NY on April 13th.
Snarky Puppy will stay on the East Coast for additional shows at Union Transfer in Philadelphia, PA on April 14th; Bailey Hall in Ithaca, NY on April 16th; and Warner Theatre in Washington, DC on April 19th. The band will then head northwest to Stage AE in Pittsburgh, PA on April 20th before wrapping up the tour with shows at Newport Music Hall in Columbus, OH on April 21st; PromoWest Pavillion at Ovation in Newport, KY on April 22nd; Ritter Amphitheater in Huntington, WV on April 24th; Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN on April 26th; and finally The Eastern in Atlanta, GA on April 28th.
