Sandberg Guitars Unveils New Florence Bass

Developed with retro aesthetics in mind, Sandberg's new Florence Bass truly captures some of the “old school” sound

Sandberg Guitars has garnered a reputation for capturing the vintage/retro appeal while developing practical, modern features. From carefully designed electronics to their signature Vibration and Thermo treatments, Sandberg continues to be an industry leader in innovation.

Developed with retro aesthetics in mind, Sandberg’s new Florence Bass truly captures some of the “old school” sound. The electronics on the Florence Bass make this objective a reality; a big ol’ humbucker placed in the “sweet spot.” Paired with the push/pull tone pot, this makes for quite the versatile bass — ranging from a classic split coil sound to a gigantic Mudbucker sound.

Regarding the design choice, Sandberg CEO Holger Stonjek says: “The idea for our Florence Bass design came from our Florence Guitar, which we designed approximately 10 years ago!”
