Scott Mulvahill has teamed up with Bass Magazine to bring you the #mulvachallenge! In our latest edition (HERE) we ran a feature story on the virtuoso upright bassist/singer along with a full transcription of his hit track “Begin Againers.” Together, we decided that this would be a great opportunity to turn the spotlight on you all, the fans and readers, to have you show us your chops in recreating his song. And this isn’t just limited to just bass players either (we swear we’re not biased).

All you have to do is:

1. Take a short, one-minute video of yourself playing your own version of “Begin Againers” (see the full transcription and a video of Scott playing it below) and upload it to your Instagram page.

2. Follow Scott (HERE) and Bass Magazine (HERE) on Instagram

3. Hashtag the video with: #mulvachallenge

4. Tag @scottmulvahill and @bassmagazineonline

It’s that simple! Scott will choose the winner himself and the #mulvachallenge champion will receive:
