Following the success of the Glenn Hughesย Signature Crush Bass 50 Combo Amp,ย Orange Amplificationย takes great pleasure in launching theย Glenn Hughes Signature Purple O Bass guitar. Based on the popularย O Bass, the new Signature O Bass has a rich vibrant purple finish and comes with two changeable ivory and jet black 3-ply scratchplates and a quality padded gig bag.

The bass guitar body is made from lightweight African Okoumรฉ wood which gives it a resonance that transfers easily through the Seymour Duncan SPB-1 Bass Pickup. The strong neck is made from Maple with a Purpleheart fretboard to give a clear, bright, transparent sound. The Bass guitar is finished with a Chequerboard binding around the body and headstock for a classic, distinctive feel and look.

The luxurious colour of the Glenn Hughes Signature Purple O Bass evokes the 1960โ€™s and 70โ€™s as well as the beginnings of heavy metal. Whatever the music played, this eye-catching deep purple bass guitar will certainly make a statement on any stage or studio, especially when coupled with the purple Glenn Hughes Signature Crush Bass 50 Combo!

Longtime Orange Ambassador,ย Glenn Hughes, known to millions as the โ€˜Voice of Rockโ€™ celebrated the 50th Anniversary of Deep Purpleโ€™s Burn album in 2023.ย  In 2024 he will be taking his โ€˜Glenn Hughes Performs Classic Deep Purple Liveโ€™ show on a nationwide USA tour.
