After two years of postponements “The Stadium Tour” with Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard, Poison, and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts finally took off and stopped at SoFi stadium in Los Angeles.

Joan Jett played all her hits and a few covers like Sly & The Family Stone’s “Everyday People” and Tommy James’ “Crimson & Clover.” Her Blackhearts band features original members Kenny Laguna (Keys), guitarist Dougie Needles, bassist Hal Selzer, and drummer Michael McDermott. Jett performed songs spanning her whole career like the Runaways “Cherry Bomb,” “I Hate Myself for Loving You,” “I Love Rock N’ Roll,” and the final song, “Bad Reputation.”

If there’s one band to get a party started, it’s Poison with their lineup of legendary frontman Brett Michaels, bassist Bobby Dall, guitarist C.C. Deville, and Drummer Rikki Rockett. Poison played all the hits, opening with “Look What the Cat Dragged In,” followed by “Ride the Wind,” and “Talk Dirty to Me.” Their 10-song set ended with “Nothin’ But a Good Time.”

British rockers Def Leppard always deliver quite an experience and they did exactly that on this evening. The celebrated band is led by the great Joe Elliott, bassist and co-founder Rick Savage, guitarist Phil Collen, and drummer Rock Allen. Three months ago Def Leppard released their latest album Diamond Star Halos, which they played select tracks from. Just like Jett and Poison, this was a set jam-packed with major hits like “Animal,” “Hysteria” “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Rock of Ages,” and “Photograph.”

In 2015, Motley Crüe bid farewell to touring, as their final show took place on New Year’s Eve at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Five years, later they changed their minds and announced their first tour. Frontman Vince Neil, bassist Nikki Sixx, guitarist Mick Mars, and drummer Tommy Lee, known as “the world’s most notorious band,” gave one unforgettable performance. They played hit after hit, opening with “Wild Side,” followed by “Shout at the Devil,” and “Too Fast for Love.” The set also included “Saints of Los Angeles,” the title track of the group’s last release from 2008.

Thjey also played a medley of covers including “Smokin in the Boys Room,” the Beatles’ “Helter Skelter,” and the Sex Pistols’ “Anarchy in the U.K.” Theycontinued with nonstop hits like “Dr. Feelgood,” “Same Ol’ Situation (S.O.S.),” “Girls, Girls, Girls,” “Primal Scream,” and “Kickstart My Heart.” If anybody was wondering if there would by pyro on stage, luckily the band saved a big flame segement at the end of the show, that capped off a truly epic night of music.

The tour comes to a close in Las Vegas on September 9th.
