Renowned bassist, composer, and producer Marius Goldhammer returns with a soulful new chapter in his acclaimed series: Songs of Love and
Bassguitars Vol. 2. Following the warm reception of Volume 1, this second installment dives even deeper into Goldhammer’s signature blend of rich grooves, intimate melodies, and genre-bending creativity. Across six tracks, the EP explores the emotional range of the bass guitar—from warm, lyrical lines to electrifying, funk-infused rhythms—each piece telling a unique story of connection and love.

“The bass isn’t just an instrument for me; it’s a voice,” says Goldhammer. “Vol. 2 continues my journey of expressing human emotions through low-end frequencies and musical dialogue.” Adding depth and dynamic interplay to the project are two celebrated collaborators: Dino Soldo, the acclaimed multi-instrumentalist known for his soulful saxophone and harmonica work, and Dirk Schaadt, whose expressive keyboard textures
and harmonic sensibility bring warmth and dimension to every track. Together, this trio crafts a vibrant, organic soundscape that’s both contemporary and timeless.
