
La Bella Strings is proud to present the return of Lords of the Low End, its signature gathering celebrating bass players, builders, brands and the worldwide low-end community. The event will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. at The Guitar Shop NYC, 213 42nd Street in Brooklyn, New York. This year’s event will feature special guest Ian Martin Allison, acclaimed bassist, educator and content creator known for his musicianship, deep knowledge of bass history and engaging approach to the instrument.
Lords of the Low End brings together musicians and some of the industry’s most respected instrument, amplification and accessory makers for an immersive day devoted to bass. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with fellow players, experience instruments and gear, meet participating builders and brands, and celebrate the instrument that holds everything together.
Participating brands include Ampeg, Olinto, Yamaha, Guild, Carbonetti Guitars, Walrus Audio, L.E.H. Guitars, Grez Guitars, MTD, Gemini Pickups, Mike Lull Custom Guitars and others.
Originally created by La Bella Strings as a dedicated gathering for bassists, Lords of the Low End has become a meeting place for the players, craftspeople and companies shaping the sound and future of the instrument. Its return reflects La Bella’s longstanding commitment to supporting musicians and strengthening the community surrounding the bass.
