As a sideman, both live and in the studio, he has worked with Mac Ayres, Lettuce, Butcher Brown, Black Odyssey, Vic Mensa, and of late, drum master Nate Smith. As a solo artist with a considerable social media presence and 30 million streams on Spotify, he has released seven albums, yielding such hits as “Groceries” and “Sparkle.” We sat down with the New York-born bassist to visit his roots, cover his creative process, and trace his rise to modern day groove demon..
