Get’m Get’m Straps proudly announces the return of the Indochine guitar and bass strap, first created for Prince, later worn by Johnny Depp of the hard-rock supergroup Hollywood Vampires, and by Daiki Tsuneta, the guitarist, vocalist, and producer behind Japan’s chart-topping rock band King Gnu.
Following overwhelming fan demand and a successful Indiegogo campaign, the Indochine returns as a limited Collector’s Edition, complete with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Each strap is handcrafted from rich purple or classic black velvet, fitted with toxin-free brass hardware, and built with our multi-layer reinforced construction technique.
The 7/8oz Latigo leather tips — a thick, premium leather known for its strength and resistance — feature our signature design, developed and refined over nearly three decades to deliver exceptional grip and long-term security for instruments on stage and in the studio.
While the first version was produced using a drip painting technique, this reissue embraces gold and red embroidery, a modern, sustainable choice that eliminates the use of toxic paints and delivers far greater durability.

The result is a luxurious reinterpretation that honors the spirit of the original while meeting today’s higher standards for quality, safety, and longevity.
“Fans asked for it, and we listened,” said Virginia Castro, founder and designer of Get’m Get’m Straps. “The Indochine was always more than a strap; it’s a piece of music history. Bringing it back as a Collector’s Edition felt like the right way to honor its legacy while giving new artists a chance to carry that story forward.”
