Cincinnati bass player and producer, Freekbass, has been crowned a national finalist for the second year in a row, for TikTok’s Live Fest Awards. Live Fest celebrates the best of live content creators on the TikTok platform and holds an in person awards show to honor those creators.

Freekbass captured the 6th place spot in the highest tier in the competition by performing live music nightly on bass and creating original songs, while interacting with his community. That community, affectionately called the “Freek Squad”, is what catapulted Freekbass to the top. Approximately 2.5M creators competed in Live Fest globally, and there are 150M+ total users in US alone.

To celebrate, TikTok is featuring Freekbass along with other finalist on the famed Times Square billboards in New York City. From December 17th to 22nd, you can see Freekbass on the Nasdaq and The Monsta billboards in midtown.

Freekbass will be attending the US Live Fest Awards in Los Angeles, CA on January 10th. And placing top 10 in the USA Gold League has also won him an invitation and trip to the TikTok Global Finals in London, England on January 16th.

Now through December 22nd, Freekbass is competing as a US finalist in the global finals with TikTok creators throughout the world. You can catch his performances nightly at https://www.tiktok.com/@freekbass .

If you can’t make it to New York City to view the Time Square billboards in person, you can view them on several online webcams such as https://www.webcamtaxi.com/en/usa/new-york/nasdaq-4-times-square.html#google_vignette
