ESS SEE, the acclaimed singer-songwriter and producer, is thrilled to announce the release of her highly anticipated single and music video for “Thirsty.” This captivating single marks an exciting return for ESS SEE, as she explores the exhilaration of post-COVID dating and a newfound freedom to connect and have fun.
“Thirsty” is a celebration of the resilience and determination shown by people worldwide during the pandemic. ESS SEE’s lyrics capture the collective desire to once again embrace life’s pleasures—“Everyone’s learned we’re not made to be lonely, come on let’s get it on. Haven’t you heard there’s no more waiting for it, come on let’s get it on.” With “Thirsty,” ESS SEE dives head first into the anticipation of rekindling connections and indulging in the exciting new encounters.
ESS SEE’s vision of post COVID romance further comes to life in her delightfully surreal music video for “Thirsty.” Directed by Jonathan Frey, the lighthearted video also features impressive custom costumes handmade by ESS SEE. Filmed in the streets of Sunset Park, Brooklyn, ESS SEE plays a sexy fountain soda, searching high and low to quench her thirst for new love. Her quest leads her through a colorful cast of equally thirsty characters: Beer (played by Joe Schumacher), Milk (played by Meg Lewis), and Energy Drink (played by Mitch Friedman). Despite encountering a liquid love triangle, ESS SEE emerges unphased, eager to see what love will bring next.

ESS SEE’s production talent shines through in “Thirsty.” The track’s lively energy and irresistible groove, (featuring guitarists Charlie Rauh and James Carbonetti, Mitch Friedman on bass, and Oskar Haggdahl on drums) are guaranteed to deliver carefree summer moments and feel good vibes. ESS SEE’s slinky chorus vocals and 1960’s style spoken bridge transport listeners to a simpler, freer time and space, where anything and everything is possible.
ESS SEE, known for her dynamic artistry and versatility, has once again delivered an exceptional piece of music that showcases her evolving sound and creativity. With “Thirsty,” she invites fans and new listeners alike to join her on an infectious sonic journey that encapsulates the joy of newfound liberation.
ESS SEE is Brooklyn-based singer, songwriter, and producer Sarah Carbonetti. Carbonetti began songwriting as a teenager in Little Rock, Arkansas.
