Eddie Vedder announced the lineup for the seventh annual Ohana Festival, Vedder’s one-of-a-kind festival experience at the picturesque Doheny State Beach overlooking the Pacific Ocean of Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, CA on September 29th- October 1st.
The Ohana Festival continues to spearhead a new wave of festivals with an eclectic lineup that focuses on diversity and gender balance with performances from over 35 artists across three stages. This year’s festival will be headlined by Eddie Vedder, Foo Fighters, and The Killers. The weekend will also feature performances by Pretenders, The Chicks, Haim, The War On Drugs, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Father John Misty, Goose, Japanese Breakfast, The Backseat Lovers, Charley Crockett, Glen Hansard, Lucius, Thee Sacred Souls, Suki Waterhouse, Franc Moody, Hermanos Gutiérrez, Dehd, Shame, Dhani Harrison, Brooks Nielsen, Amos Lee, Lido Pimienta, Danielle Ponder, Trousdale, Talk, Wunderhorse, Big Joanie, The Aquadolls, The Alive, Emma Routhier. Last year’s festival, which featured performances by Eddie Vedder, Stevie Nicks, P!NK, Jack White, St. Vincent and more, received rave reviews:
Tickets for this year’s festival will begin with the Ten Club Presale on Tuesday, April 11th at 8am PST followed by the SMS Presale starting on Thursday, April 13th at 10am PST. The Cove, a one-of-a-kind area within the festival that combines the power of music and activism, will once again feature thought-provoking panel discussions from leading conservationists, environmentalists, researchers, and professional surfers on the Storyteller’s Stage. The Cove is also home to an art gallery, curated by Charles R. Adler, that showcases an expansive collection of unique pieces around music, surf, skate and activism. More information on the Storytellers Stage programming will be announced ahead of the festival.
Ohana Festival was founded by Eddie Vedder in 2016 and has featured past performers including Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Strokes, Mumford & Sons, Stevie Nicks, and P!nk. A portion of the proceeds from Ohana will benefit the Doheny State Beach Foundation and the San Onofre Parks Foundation in addition to participating charities likeSurfrider Foundation – South OC Chapter, WSL PURE, Unidos South OC, Los Cerritos Wetlands Land Trust, Rob Machado Foundation, Everytown Gun Control, Music Preserves,Sea Legacy, and more.
Open to all ages, the festival will feature craft beer, wine, signature cocktails, as well as artisan food options from local restaurants and food trucks.
