After releasing his third solo album Origin Story back in March, Derek Frank is taking his show on the road. The bassist, who is also known for his work with Gwen Stefani, Shania Twain, and various other pop acts, will be leading his band in a run of dates over the Summer and Fall that will mainly focus on the West Coast.
Things kick off June 25th in Studio City, California and will quickly jump to Las Vegas for two shows, then New York City for one show before heading back to California. Frank and crew will then head to northern California, the Pacific Northwest, and Colorado before returning to southern California for a few December shows. More dates are in the works.
Origin Story is playfully described as a collection of “seventies-inspired funky instrumental jams with fewer bass solos than you would expect.”
