Mandolin virtuoso Chris Thile, in partnership with Dreamcatcher Events, announces the 2026 edition of his acclaimed Acousticamp, taking place July 13-16, 2026, at the historic Tarrytown House Estate in Tarrytown, New York. This intimate four-day immersive experience brings together some of acoustic music’s most celebrated artists for an unprecedented gathering of instruction, performance, and musical community.
Acousticamp 2026 features an exceptional faculty lineup including guitar masters Chris Eldridge, Blake Mills, and Michael Daves; vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Sarah Jarosz; banjo innovator Noam Pikelny; bass virtuoso Paul Kowert; fiddler Brittany Haas; and mandolinists Maddie Witler and Ashley Hoyer. Special guest awrtists include singer-songwriter, poet, and multi-instrumentalist Meshell Ndegeocello and double-bass master Edgar Meyer, adding further depth to the program’s already remarkable roster.
“Whether youโre a professional looking to widen and deepen your artistry, an enthusiastic amateur ready to take your jamming game to the next level, or a passionate concertgoer yearning for an extended peek behind the curtain, you will love this camp!” said Thile. “Prepare for relentlessly joyful trips down the music-making rabbit holes of performance practice, listening comprehension, composition, lyric-writing, improvisation, collaboration, recording, and on and on!”

Daily masterclasses will provide deeper dives into technique, composition, and performance. Evening concerts featuring the faculty and special guests will create unforgettable musical moments, followed by late-night listening parties with Thile and impromptu jam sessions.
Beyond the music, Acousticamp incorporates unique culinary and craft beverage experiences. Daily coffee service and tasting classes will be led by Trevor Corlett from world-renowned Madcap Coffee, while legendary bartender Abigail Gullo will conduct cocktail classes and host evening cocktail hours.
