Bass Magazine, the world’s leading bass publication, announces Bass Magazine Awards 2025, on January 23rd, 2025, at The Observatory in Santa Ana, California.
This must-see, star-studded blowout promises to be the biggest night of bass in decades, honoring Sting, Pino Palladino, Justin Chancellor, Thundercat, MonoNeon and Mohini Dey.
In recognition of young talent, the evening will begin with our Future of Bass Awards, presented to Mohini Dey and to MonoNeon, who will perform with his band. To mark continued excellence in bass, we will next present Thundercat with our inaugural Vanguard Award. In our headlining Lifetime Achievement Award segment, Justin Chancellor will receive his award and perform with Victor Wooten and Steve Bailey, and members of Tool. To follow, John Patitucci will accept his award and perform. To close the ceremonies, Sting will receive his award from Christian McBride and perform.
