Israeli Livetronica band G-Nome Project is shaking things up with their innovative sound, blending electronic and live instrumentation in a way that’s turning heads in the music scene. At the heart of their unique sound is bassist Zach Reich, who plays parts that are typically reserved for keyboards or virtual instruments.

At a recent performance at King’s Rook Club in Erie, PA, the band asked bassist Tony Grey (Hiromi, John McLaughlin, Bob James, Mino Cinelu, Hotei Tomoyasu) to join them on stage for a performance of “Stratus.”

“The Tony sit-in was totally unplanned. He coincidentally played with the opening band so we just went up to him and asked if he wanted to sit in on our set and he obliged! We knew Stratus would be the perfect canvas for him to paint on so we ran it by him and the rest is history” says Yakir Hyman.
