Since completing Rage Against the Machine’s 2022 tour, Tim Commerford has been busy working on a new project, which he has just unveiled to the public, that features guitarist Jonny Polonsky and drummer Mathias Wakrat known as the power trio 7D7D.

The band made the announcement via social media pages and have released the first single “Capitalism,” which you can hear here:

A subsequent album is expected to follow, which is good timing for Timmy C, as RATM recently cancelled their 2023 North American tour due to lead singer Zack de la Rocha recovering from a torn achilles tendon that caused him to perform in a chair for most of their previous tour.
