Good Cat Records is thrilled to announce the release of the debut album from M´Joyes Missing Person Afternoon, available now.

Missing Person Afternoon is a Bass Tribute to the folk-rock pop singer Jonatha Brooke.

This unique project represents the broad possibilities of such an instrument as bass where different layers of grooves and nuances can be heard. Yes, just bass, no midi or samples. That means everything is played with bass: drums, percussion, keys, guitars, violins, bass, brass, and melodies. This imaginative project has created different sounds with the help of tools like capo, gloves, rubber band, picks, toothbrush, and ebow. De?nitely a challenge work. Best when listened to with headphones.

M’Joyes has been a bass player for more than twenty years working in a variety of bands and styles. She has lived and performed as a bass player in Spain, London and Los Angeles.
