The Ball Family Reserve is a celebration of our heritage in instrument craftsmanship. Only offered in limited production runs, these rare pieces allow us to present instruments to the public that were previously reserved for family and artists. This Fall Collection features the StingRay 4 Slugger, the StingRay HT Plum Crazy, the Sabre HT Duello, and the StingRay 5 Crescendo.

This Ball Family Reserve StingRay 5 “Crescendo” is an ash body 5-string bass with dual humbucking pickups in an exclusive all-white sparkle finish. The back of the neck and headstock are painted to match the body.

The roasted figured maple fingerboard is outfitted with 24 stainless steel frets and comes standard without fretboard inlays. This special edition BFR StingRay 5 is beautifully accented with gold-plated hardware, gold pickup pole pieces, gold control knobs, and comes without a pickguard to provide a cleaner, simplified look.

The StingRay 5 comes standard with an 18-volt 4 band preamp.
