Spector Musical Instruments is excited to announce the release of its latest series – the NS Pulse. Continuing Spector’s influential design legacy, the iconic three-dimensionally carved body is supplemented with a textural, sandblasted finish and an array of professional-grade features.

Players have long been drawn to the look and comfort of the fully contoured Spector NS body. The NS Pulse pushes Spector’s design forward with striking aesthetics and upgraded construction. Its solid Swamp Ash body features a distinctive sandblasted finish, that allows players to see and feel the unique grain pattern of each bass. The three-piece Roasted Maple bolt-on neck is paired with a 24 fret Macassar Ebony fingerboard, providing enhanced stability, resonance, and note definition.

The NS Pulse also comes complete with a professional-grade electronics package for a wide range of impressive and aggressive tones. 4-string models feature the classic EMG P/J pickup combination, while 5-string models are equipped with a pair of 40DC humbuckers. Each NS Pulse bass is loaded with Spector’s proprietary TonePump Jr. active pre-amp, a perfect complement to the tonal palette provided by the EMG pickups.

“The NS Pulse takes the classic Spector design and adds compelling new features to maximize its potential,” says John Stippell, Global Brand Manager for SMI. “Taking cues from our flagship USA Series, this new series features premium tone woods combined with an incredible sandblasted finish and premium pickups from EMG. Players are going to love the look, feel and performance of these basses,” added Stippell.

The NS Pulse is available in a Cinder Red or Charcoal Grey finish beginning November 2020. Prices start at $1,099.99 for 4-string models and $1,199.99 for 5-string models at Spector retailers nationwide. NS Pulse basses will be available internationally in early 2021.
