Fender has unveiled a select number of exclusive signed guitars by Fender Signature Artists that will be available for sale on Reverb to benefit Live Nation’s Crew Nation – a global relief fund for live music crews. The Official Fender x Crew Nation Reverb Shop launches 6/16, with 100% of the net proceeds going towards extending a helping hand to touring and venue crews who depend on live shows to make a living.

Live Nation launched Crew Nation in April to help support touring and venue crews through this temporary intermission while COVID-19 puts concerts on pause. Live Nation has committed $10 million to the fund – contributing an initial $5 million, then matching the next $5 million in donations, dollar for dollar.

Flea’s Active Jazz Bass has a single hot-wound humbucking pickup. Combined with the built-in preamp, it pumps out heavy, aggressive tones with ease. To his literal signature on the body, Flea has also added a little artwork of his own.

When writing and recording Guns N’ Roses’ Appetite for Destruction, Duff McKagan used an ‘80s Jazz Bass Special, a rare model that split the difference between a Jazz and a Precision. McKagan’s signature model here features a Seymour Duncan STKJ2B single-coil bridge pickup and P-Bass split-coil neck pickup.

These basses will be available in The Official Fender x Crew Nation Reverb Shop on Tuesday, June 16, at 11 am CDT.
