In this exclusive, bassist Jeff Hinz of The Unbroken gives a playtrough of his work on the band's single "Nothing Left To Sell" from their recently released album The Human Crown.
Heinz explains his gear set up for the song, "I use an ESP LTD B-206SM Bass strung with Ernie Ball 6 string long scale slinky strings, and my signature Chaos Guitars bass Isobel, strung with Ernie Ball Power slinky strings."
"For amplifiers, I use a Hartke LH500 Bass Head going through a Goliath 4x12 bass cabinet. For pedals I use a KHDK Abyss bass overdrive, a Keeley Bass Limiter, and a TC Electronic Polytune 2 Tuner pedal."
Formed in the high powered Brooklyn metal scene, THE UNBROKEN are rising out of the murk and taking the world by storm. A band dedicated to punk rock ethics and a vicious modern metal sound that goes for the throat they develop on the work of their influences, bands like Metallica, Pantera and Slipknot in order to cultivate something greater.
2019 May THE UNBROKEN released their debut EP, Human Crown, co-produced by John Bender (Breaking Benjamin), mixed by Johan Meyer (Gojira) and mastered by Alan Douches (High On Fire, Mastodon). The Human Crown is available for purchase in digital and physical formats on the website, as well as all band merchandise.
