The Bass Bash 2020 Hits NAMM January 16th & 17th

Discounted advanced tickets are available now

This January 2020 we are proud to return for our 17th successful year of the Bass Bash, a two-night bass-centric concert features some of the world’s most exciting and inspirational bassists showcasing their latest projects. If you are in Southern California on January 16th and 17th, this is show to catch for musical inspiration, hang with the bass community, and to enter to win some great prizes.

This year’s stellar lineup includes: Scott Ambush, Tal Wilkenfeld, Ben Kenney, Damian Erskine, Cody Wright, Henrik Linder, Jimmy Haslip, Mai Leisz, Bubby Lewis, and Teymur Phell.

This show has been the most exciting and successful bass focused event during the Winter NAMM show. The lineup will be HOT and the space is limited, so buy your tickets in advance to see performances by some of the world’s most inspiring bass players and musicians. It will feature 5 artists a night – lineup to be announced

Besides all the incredible music, the Bass Bash will have a raffle with prizes ranging from basses to effects pedals, strings to bass bridges and more!

The two-night event is scheduled for Thursday January 16th and Friday January 17th at The Phoenix Club in Anaheim, California. Admission is $20 each night and is open to the public. Advanced tickets and more information will be announced soon.

The goal is for proceeds, if any, to be distributed to one or more non-profit organization specifically designed for musicians. Some will be used to fund a Bass Bash scholarship to Victor Wooten’s Center for Music and Nature, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, to study with Victor Wooten and other world renowned music educators.

Another non-profit we would like to donate to assists underinsured or uninsured musicians with medical needs or injuries of the hands/elbows/shoulders that affect their ability to play their instruments. (More info to come)

What better way to spend your first two nights of the NAMM convention than enjoying some great music while also helping worthy causes!

Thanks again to all the artists and special guest artists that brought their exciting and unique music to our stage last year. Also, we are sincerely grateful to all of the sponsors and vendors for their contributions towards the production, sponsored gear, monetary donations and items contributed to our raffle. We could not do it without their help!

Most of all, we appreciate you, the audience that continues to return every year and spreads the word about this show, started as a labor of love by the predecessors who started the Bass Bash and put so much work into building it. It’s upon that foundation that we’ve been able to grow this event into what it is today.

The Bass Bash is ‘not for profit’ and all funds are applied to production expense. We appreciate your enthusiasm and hope to continue to keep the show running during winter NAMM. Please sign up for our newsletter for upcoming event information and we look forward to seeing you in January!
