Born in the renowned island Sardinia (Italy), Pier Piras it’s a unique solo bassist influenced by the culture, landscapes and atmospheres of his own island – Mediterranean Bass Virtuoso might be the best term to label Pier’s artistical identity. Having reached 24k+ followes on Instagram and collecting numerous collaborations with international YouTubers such as Davie504, Charles Berthoud and BassTheWorld, Pier is without any doubt an upcoming revelation in the Bass scene. 

Endorsed by Distrokid, Pier’s debut album “A Wizard’s Perspective” has been officially released on May 13th 2022 on all digital stores. In this first album Pier’s bass style aims at melodic and percussive patterns, sonically designing Mediterranean sounds taking inspiration from Sardinia‘s aura. The music of “A Wizard’s Perspective” can be described as bass-driven World Music (also transversely associated with Prog) depicting intense ethnic and exotic influences, resulting in a fresh, highly enjoyable and cinematic musical experience.
