About Suzi:

Rock & Roll pioneer, Suzi Quatro was the first female bass player/singer/songwriter to have worldwide success — she went on to sell 55 million records worldwide. At the young age of 14, Suzi joined her sisters as bass player and lead singer of their all-girl band, The Pleasure Seekers. Signed at 21 by producer Mickie Most, Suzi flew to England to work with legendary songwriters, Mike Chapman and Nicky Chinn. Her first Chapman produced megahit, “Can the Can,” went to #1, followed by multiple chart-topping hits worldwide.

In 1977, Suzi landed her iconic TV role as Leather Tuscadero in “Happy Days,” starring with Henry Winkler and Ron Howard. She made her London theater debut as Annie Oakley in “Annie Get Your Gun,” followed by starring roles in several London West End musicals. She then turned her autobiography into a one-woman stage show, running for two weeks at the Hippodrome in London. In 1999, Suzi began her 15-year run as D.J. host of her own BBC 2 radio show.

In 2016, Suzi was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Music in Cambridge, England. She’s now Dr. Quatro! A documentary film on Suzi’s illustrious career, “Suzi Q!” was released worldwide in 2019 and debuted in the USA July 3, 2020. Acclaimed by the Golden Globes, Billboard, Rolling Stone, and Variety, among many, Suzi’s documentary has an astounding 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. With the success of Suzi Q!, Suzi has now been signed for a feature film/biopic of her life story. She is currently in the studio recording her latest studio album, co-written with her son, Richard Tuckey. Suzi continues to tour worldwide, performing at least 85 dates a year, and she can’t wait to get back on the road!

We ask Suzi: You’re a rock legend, bass player, singer, songwriter, TV star, actress, poet, radio show host, and Doctor of Music. Will you ever slow down? Suzi responds, “I will retire when I go on stage, shake my ass, and there is silence.”
