Having already made a name for herself as the bass player with the two time Rock & Roll Hall of Famer David Crosby, Mai Leisz is returning as a solo artist with her second single “Ho’oponopono” out today.
“Ho’oponopono” is a Hawaiian practice for healing and forgiveness which the world needs now more than ever. The song is inspired by introspective contemplation of inner star wars, the journey within from healing and forgiving oneself to being able to forgive others.
Assembling her first band of American musicians, Estonian bass player Mai Leisz is joined by living legends Mike Landau, Greg Leisz and Gary Novak. Her deep lyricism, emotive yet raw compositions and charismatic stage presence have raised her name among the most renowned bass players in the world today and led her to touring internationally as a band leader and as a member of David Crosby’s Sky Trails Band. Her tireless work ethic, dedication and ability to make her instrument truly sing, have grown Mai a loyal fan base, as she continues to grow her audience as a solo artist. New single “Ho’oponopono” will be released on May 29th, followed by a music video release on June 5th.
