Freekbass gets creative musically and visually, stretching out solo on his favorite basses and crossing between genres, with one foot always planted in Funk. Grounded by a loop station and a groove, Freekbass will perform original material from his most recent album, "All The Way This. All The Way That." (Color Red) and will also improv and layer basslines with his signature double-neck bass.

Bass player FREEKBASS, so dubbed by the legendary Bootsy Collins who has called him “The new spiritual warrior of the funk,” hails from the funk DNA of Cincinnati, OH. Known for his energetic live show and ignited low-end, FREEKBASS brings danceable tunes with hints of Prince, David Bowie, Talking Heads and P-Funk. A FREEKBASS performance is for those who want to move, to groove, and to experience an event where the show and the music are one.

FREEKBASS has shared the stage with a host of artists from nearly every genre: Bernie Worrell, Umphrey’s McGee, Turkuaz, Dumpstaphunk, George Porter Jr., Buckethead, DJ Logic, Zach Deputy, Andy Frasco, Keller Williams, Leftover Salmon, New Mastersounds and collaborated with Bootsy Collins, Adam Deitch (Lettuce), Mike Gordon (Phish), Eddie Roberts, Skerik, Jennifer Hartswick, and others.
