Multi-platinum hit rock band, Daughtry – known for chart-topping hit songs ‘September,’ ‘Waiting For Superman,’ ‘It’s Over Now,’ ‘Home’ and 2018’s critically acclaimed ‘As You Are’ – returns to his rock roots with a fiery new track titled "World On Fire."

Sure to get your adrenaline rushing, the guitar-laden anthem had its world premiere today first on Sirius XM’s Octane Radio’s ‘Test Drive’ format, which introduces the newest songs in hard rock with Octane host José Mangin.

“For me, World on Fire represents a hard look at what’s going on around us,” front-man Chis Daughtry shares on the single. ”The world is not at a lack of issues for us to deal with. I hope this song inspires people to be aware and treat each other better, eradicate division and hate by spreading kindness. I think that’s the most important thing we can do as a species.”

‘World On Fire’ marks the first single since 2019 for the band, who just this week embarked out virtually on their U.S. Live From Home livestream tour. Each show features a unique setlist, a Q&A session, song requests, and special surprises. A percentage of the ticket proceeds from each respective city venue host’s website goes directly to that venue. The tour kicked off last for Chicago’s Park West venue, and will continue Friday, August 14 with the band playing for Minneapolis’ own First Avenue venue beginning at 8:00pm CST. For each performance, fans will also have the option to join the livestream, bundle access with merchandise, or join Daughtry for an exclusive 1-on-1 VIP video meet and greet.
